The Obstacle
The largest problem, other than price, that manufactures encounter when considering CRM is changing internal procedures. Automated CRM requires internal discipline from all employees. A major reason people do not use the tools is because they are not deriving value. There may be improper setup, improper training, and longstanding processes. Management must be sure tools are properly being used. Not all CRM benefits are equal to others, but they do bring profit to cooperation. Another obstacle for manufactures that use CRM is when vendors promise benefits which are not delivered. If you are working with a vendor be sure to ask questions; 'How can you be sure I'm going to be successful? Can you guarantee the outcome of my project? |
